October is one of my favorite months for sure.
I love the changing of the leaves, the smell of fall burning, the cooler days, bbqs and bonfires, even Halloween 🎃. Maybe especially Halloween 👻
It’s also a very busy month for this family of 6. The kids finish cross country, school volleyball, they start basketball, club volleyball league starts back up, cheer classes go from one night to two, high school football games go on. Banquets and parties most weekends. Chili cook-offs. Boy I am tired just thinking about this last couple months.
Those last precious few weekends st the lake.
We need wood cut we need yard mowed and leaves raked.
But we’re having a party! And I’m so excited.
I love dressing up for Halloween.
I love ghoulish decorations. Haunted. Zombie-ish.
Halloween music and games….not so much the really scary movies though. Eek!
I love hosting friends and family for a good time.
This year I had fun making decorations for the barn. ☠️
